Load Out Requirements

Horsemen must own and maintain the items listed here. You are expected to have the proper load out at every event. The Load Out is always subject to change.

The Load Out is always subject to change as need dictate. Command staff makes every attempt to keep major additions to 1 per year.

Load Out verification checks on done randomly and may be accomplished with or without notice.

  • 1 Set of Mulitcam BDU or TRU (Crye Precision recommended)
  • 1 Sets of Woodland BDU or TRU (Tru-Spec TRU recommended)
  • 1 Pair of 5.11 Pants, Color Tundra (Mandatory for National Event walkthrough)
  • 1 AEG shooting 370FPS or Less (metal and m4 style recommended)
  • Minimum of 3 Magazines or Box Mag for AEG (midcaps recommended)
  • Compass or GPS Navigation
  • Motorola CP100 16 channel VHF Radio or compatible (refurbished recommended)
  • ANSI Z87.1 Rated Full Seal Eye Protection (ESS turbo cams recommended)
  • First Aid Kit (small size 1-5 people is acceptable for non medics)
  • Watch
  • White Sock (death and wounded rules)
  • Red Rag (death and wounded rules)
  • Barrel Bag
  • Whistle
  • Your current rank insignia attached to all BDUs or TRUs
  • Combat Footwear (converse c8894 or c8874 recommended)
  • Hydration System or Canteen(s) (system strongly recommended)
  • Battery Powered Glow Stick (night game death indicator)
  • Name Tape, with Either Call Sign or Last Name Attached to BDUs
  • Team Patch Attached to BDUs
  • Gun Bag or Case for All Weapons (Pelican cases recommended)
  • Gear Bag
  • IBA Vest or Rig to Properly Carry Gear in the Field (MOLLE types and OD or Coyote recommended)
  • Shemagh (OD or Tan)
  • Paintball style Mask for operators under 18 (recommended for everyone in CQB events)
  • Tactical Flashlight (mounted or unmounted)
  • Name or call sign on all gear bags and gun cases
  • Helmet or Cover (Mandatory for National and CQB events.)
  • Horsemen Shirt (Mandatory for National Event walkthrough)
  • Positive MilSim Attitude
Recruits are expected to have the minimum team load out (Except Patches and team tapes) within 28 days after their application is submitted.
